Sañjaya’s Report

यदा द्रष्टा भीमसेनं रथस्थं गदाहस्तं क्रोधविषं वमन्तम्‌ । अमर्षणं पाण्डवं भीमवेगं तदा युद्ध धार्तराष्ट्रोडन्वतप्स्यत्‌

yadā draṣṭā bhīmasenaṁ rathasthaṁ gadāhastaṁ krodhaviṣaṁ vamantam | amarṣaṇaṁ pāṇḍavaṁ bhīmavegaṁ tadā yuddhe dhārtarāṣṭro 'nutapsyate ||

સંજય બોલ્યા—જ્યારે દુર્યોધન રથ પર બેઠેલા, હાથમાં ગદા ધરાવતાં, ક્રોધરૂપ વિષ ઉગલતાં, અણગમતા સ્વભાવના અને ભયંકર વેગવાળા પાંડુનંદન ભીમસેનને જોશે, ત્યારે યુદ્ધના પરિણામને વિચારી ધૃતરાષ્ટ્રપુત્રને ભારે પશ્ચાત્તાપ થશે.
