अलंकृता वस्त्रवत्य: सुगन्धा अबीभत्सा: सुखिता भोगवत्य: । लघु यासां दर्शनं वाक् च लघ्वी वेशस्त्रिय: कुशल तात पृच्छे:
alaṅkṛtā vastravatyaḥ sugandhā abībhatsāḥ sukhitā bhogavatyaḥ | laghu yāsāṃ darśanaṃ vāk ca laghvī veśastriyaḥ kuśala tāta pṛccheḥ ||
યુધિષ્ઠિરે કહ્યું— “પ્રિય સંજય, વેશ-ભૂષા અને શૃંગારની સેવા કરનાર સ્ત્રીઓની પણ કુશળતા પૂછજે—જેઓનું દર્શન મનોહર છે, વાણી મૃદુ છે; જેઓ આભૂષણોથી અલંકૃત, ઉત્તમ વસ્ત્રોથી સુશોભિત, સુગંધિત છે; ઘૃણિત વર્તનથી રહિત, સુખી અને ભોગ-સામગ્રીથી સમૃદ્ધ છે।”
