अध्याय २९ — वासुदेव–संजय संवादः
Karma, Varṇa-Dharma, and the Ethics of Governance
ये चैवान्ये कुरुमुख्या युवान: पुत्रा: पौत्रा भ्रातरश्वैव ये नः । यं यमेषां मन्यसे येन योग्यं तत् तत् प्रोच्यानामयं सूत वाच्या:
ye caivānye kurumukhyā yuvānaḥ putrāḥ pautrā bhrātaraś caiva ye naḥ | yaṃ yam eṣāṃ manyase yena yogyaṃ tat tat procya nāmayaṃ sūta vācyāḥ ||
યુધિષ્ઠિરે કહ્યું—હે સંજય! આ સિવાય કુરુકુલના અન્ય મુખ્ય યુવાનો—જે અમારા પુત્ર, પૌત્ર અને ભાઈ સમાન છે—તેમામાંથી જેને જેમ સંબોધવું યોગ્ય લાગે, તેને તેમ જ કહીને વાત કરજે. હે સૂત! સૌને કહી દેજે કે પાંડવો સ્વસ્થ અને આનંદિત છે।
