कर्णश्र॒ जानाति सुयोधनश्च द्रोणक्ष जानाति पितामहश्न । अन्ये च ये कुरवस्तत्र सन्ति यथार्जुनान्नास्त्यपरो धनुर्धर:,अर्जुनसे बढ़कर दूसरा कोई धनुर्धर नहीं है--इस बातको कर्ण जानता है, दुर्योधन जानता है, आचार्य द्रोण और पितामह भीष्म जानते हैं तथा अन्य जो-जो कौरव वहाँ रहते हैं, वे सब भी जानते हैं
karṇaś ca jānāti suyodhanaś ca droṇaś ca jānāti pitāmahaś ca | anye ca ye kuravas tatra santi yathārjunān nāsty aparo dhanurdharaḥ ||
સંજય બોલ્યો—કર્ણ જાણે છે, સુયોધન પણ જાણે છે; દ્રોણાચાર્ય જાણે છે અને પિતામહ ભીષ્મ પણ જાણે છે. ત્યાં હાજર અન્ય બધા કુરુઓ પણ જાણે છે—અર્જુન સમો કોઈ ધનુર્ધર નથી.
