शलो भूरिश्रवा: शल्य: कौसल्यो<थ बूृहद्रथ: । एते पश्चादनुगता धार्तराष्ट्रपुरोगमा:,सेनासहित कृतवर्मा, महारथी त्रिगर्त, भाइयोंसे घिरा हुआ महाराज दुर्योधन, शल, भूरिश्रवा, शल्य तथा कोसलराज बृहद्रथ--ये दुर्योधनको आगे करके उसके पीछे-पीछे (तृतीय सैन्यदलमें) चले
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
śalo bhūriśravāḥ śalyaḥ kausalyo 'tha bṛhadrathaḥ |
ete paścād anugatā dhārtarāṣṭra-purogamāḥ senā-sahitāḥ kṛtavarmā mahārathaḥ trigartāḥ ||
વૈશમ્પાયને કહ્યું—શલ, ભૂરિશ્રવા, શલ્ય, કોશલરાજ અને પછી બૃહદ્રથ—આ બધા ધાર્તરાષ્ટ્રોને (દુર્યોધનને અગ્રસ્થાને રાખીને) આગળ રાખી, તેમની પાછળ પાછળ અનુસરતા ચાલ્યા।
