आज म्मु: पृथिवीपाला: कम्पयन्त इवाचलान् । जयद्रथ आदि अन्य राजा, जो सिन्धु और सौवीरदेशके निवासी थे, पर्वतोंको कँपाते हुए-से दुर्योधनके पास आये

વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા— ધરતીના પાલક તે રાજાઓ એવા આવ્યા જાણે પર્વતોને પણ કંપાવી દેતા હોય. સિંધુ અને સૌવીર દેશના નિવાસી જયદ્રથ વગેરે રાજાઓ એ જ પ્રચંડ ઠાઠ-માઠ સાથે દુર્યોધન પાસે પહોંચ્યા.
