Ambā’s Vow of Tapas after Paraśurāma’s Assessment (अम्बाया तपोव्रतनिश्चयः)

ततो दधार सा देवी गर्भ राजीवलोचना । तदनन्तर ट्रुपदराजकी मनस्विनी पत्नीने नियमपूर्वक रहकर ट्रुपदके साथ संयोग किया। शास्त्रीय विधिसे गर्भाधान-संस्कार होनेपर यथासमय उसने गर्भ धारण किया। राजन! जैसा कि मुझसे नारदजीने कहा था। ट्रुपदकी कमलनयनी रानीने इसी प्रकार गर्भ धारण किया ।।

tato dadhāra sā devī garbhaṁ rājīvalocanā | tāṁ sa rājā priyāṁ bhāryāṁ drupadaḥ kurunandana |

પછી કમલનયની, દેવીસમાન તે રાણીએ ગર્ભ ધારણ કર્યો. હે કુરુનંદન! ભાવિ પુત્ર પ્રત્યેના સ્નેહથી રાજા દ્રુપદે પોતાની પ્રિય પત્નીને બહુ સુખમાં રાખી અને યથોચિત સન્માન કર્યું.
