ततः सूतव्यसनिन विप्लुतं मां स भार्गव: । शरेणाभ्यहनद् गाढं विकृष्य बलवद्धनु:,उस समय मैं सारथिकी मृत्युके कारण व्याकुल था तो भी भृगुनन्दन परशुरामने अपने सुदृढ़ धनुषको जोर-जोरसे खींचकर मुझपर बाणसे गहरा आघात किया
tataḥ sūtavyasanin viplutaṃ māṃ sa bhārgavaḥ | śareṇābhyahanad gāḍhaṃ vikṛṣya balavaddhanuḥ ||
ત્યારે સારથીના દુર્ભાગ્યથી વ્યાકુળ થયેલા મને, તે ભાર્ગવે પોતાનું બળવાન ધનુષ્ય પૂરેપૂરું ખેંચીને એક બાણથી ઘેરો પ્રહાર કર્યો.
