राम उवाच यथा त्वं सृञ्जयस्यास्य तथा मे त्वं नृपात्मजे । ब्रूहि यत्‌ ते मनोदुःखं करिष्ये वचनं तव,परशुरामजी बोले--राजकुमारी! जैसे तू इन संजयकी दौहित्री है, उसी प्रकार मेरी भी है। तेरे मनमें जो दुःख है, उसे बता। मैं तेरे कथनानुसार सब कार्य करूँगा

Transliteration

rāma uvāca | yathā tvaṃ sṛñjayasyāsya tathā me tvaṃ nṛpātmaje | brūhi yat te manoduḥkhaṃ kariṣye vacanaṃ tava ||

Translation

રામ બોલ્યા—રાજકુમારી! જેમ તું આ સૃઞ્જયની દૌહિત્રી છે, તેમ જ તું મારી પણ છે. તારા મનનું દુઃખ શું છે તે કહો; તારા વચન મુજબ હું કાર્ય કરીશ.
