अम्बोपाख्याने तापसानां विचारः तथा होत्रवाहनस्य उपदेशः

प्रवृत्ते दारुणे युद्धे शाल्वार्थ नापतं पुरा । “अथवा अपने मूढ़ पिताको दोष दूँ
pravṛtte dāruṇe yuddhe śālvārtha nāpataṃ purā |
પૂર્વકાળે જ્યારે તે ભયંકર યુદ્ધ શરૂ થઈ ગયું હતું, ત્યારે શાલ્વ માટે હું ભીષ્મના રથમાંથી કૂદી ઉતરી શકી નહોતી—આ જ મારો દોષ છે.
