Ulūka’s Provocation and Keśava’s Counter-Message (उलूकदूत्ये केशवप्रत्युत्तरम्)
धृष्टद्युम्नं च पाज्चाल्यं ब्रूयास्त्वं वचनान्मम । एष ते समय: प्राप्तो लब्धव्यश्ष॒ त्वयापि सः
sañjaya uvāca |
dhṛṣṭadyumnaṃ ca pāñcālyaṃ brūyās tvaṃ vacanān mama |
eṣa te samayaḥ prāpto labdhavyaś ca tvayāpi saḥ |
pāṇḍavānāṃ kurūṇāṃ ca yuddhaṃ lokabhayaṅkaram ||
અને પાંચાલકુમાર ધૃષ્ટદ્યુમ્નને પણ મારા વચન કહેજે—‘આ તારો સમય આવી પહોંચ્યો છે; જે અવસર તારે પણ મેળવવો હતો તે હવે હાથમાં છે. પાંડવો અને કુરુઓનું, સમગ્ર લોકને ભયંકર લાગતું યુદ્ધ, નજીક આવી ગયું છે.’
