पाण्डवसेनानायकाभिषेकः तथा बलरामागमन-उपदेशः | Appointment of Pandava Commanders and Balarama’s Counsel
नगराणीव गुप्तानि दुराधर्षाणि शत्रुभि: । आसन् रथसहस््राणि हेममालीनि सर्वश:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
nagarāṇīva guptāni durādharṣāṇi śatrubhiḥ |
āsan rathasahasrāṇi hemamālīni sarvaśaḥ ||
નગરોની જેમ સુરક્ષિત અને શત્રુઓ માટે અત્યંત દુર્ધર્ષ, સુવર્ણમાળાઓથી અલંકૃત હજારો રથ સર્વત્ર ઊભા હતા. આ માત્ર શોભા માટે નહોતું; સુવ્યવસ્થિત અને દૃઢ રક્ષણવાળી શિસ્તબદ્ધ યુદ્ધરચના હતી.
