Sāma–Bheda–Daṇḍa
तस्य पार्थिवसिंहस्य राज्यं धर्मेण शासत: । त्रयः प्रजज्ञिरे पुत्रा देवकल्पा यशस्विन:,“धर्मपूर्वक राज्यका शासन करते हुए नृपप्रवर प्रतीपके तीन पुत्र उत्पन्न हुए, जो देवताओंके समान तेजस्वी और यशस्वी थे
tasya pārthivasiṃhasya rājyaṃ dharmeṇa śāsataḥ | trayaḥ prajajñire putrā devakalpā yaśasvinaḥ ||
ધર્મપૂર્વક રાજ્ય શાસન કરનાર તે નૃપસિંહ પ્રતીપને ત્રણ પુત્રો જન્મ્યા—દેવતાસમાન તેજસ્વી અને યશસ્વી।
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse presents dharma as the guiding principle of kingship: when a ruler administers the realm righteously, social order and prosperity follow, symbolized here by the birth of illustrious, ‘god-like’ heirs.
Vāyudeva continues a genealogical-historical account, stating that the eminent king (Pratīpa, by context) ruled according to dharma, and during such righteous शासन (governance) three celebrated sons were born to him.
