धृतराष्ट्रस्य वंशोपदेशः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Dynastic Counsel on Legitimate Rule
नीचै: स्थित्वा तु विदुर उपास्ते सम विनीतवत् । प्रेष्पवत् पुरुषव्याप्रो वालव्यजनमुत्क्षिपन्
nīcaiḥ sthitvā tu vidura upāste sama-vinītavat | preṣpavat puruṣa-vyāghro vāla-vyajanam utkṣipan ||
ત્યારે વિદુર નીચે ઊભો રહી, સુશિક્ષિત સેવકની જેમ સમભાવ અને વિનયથી ધૃતરાષ્ટ્રની સેવા કરવા લાગ્યો. પુરુષસિંહ સમો તે ચામર ઉંચકી હલાવતો રહ્યો—અહંકાર નહીં, સંયમિત કર્તવ્ય જ તેનું ભૂષણ હતું.
