वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even amid looming conflict, dharma is upheld through respectful conduct—approaching with elders/ministers, offering an embrace, and saluting as formerly—so that dialogue can proceed without arrogance or provocation.
Vaiśaṃpāyana narrates an instruction to approach a prince with accompanying ministers, embrace him, and then formally pay respects to King Yudhiṣṭhira in the customary earlier manner, signaling an attempt to maintain decorum and reopen communication.
