दण्डनीति: स्वधर्मेण चातुर्वर्ण्य नियच्छति । प्रयुक्ता स्वामिना सम्यगधर्मेभ्यश्व॒ यच्छति
daṇḍanītiḥ svadharmeṇa cāturvarṇyaṃ niyacchati | prayuktā svāminā samyag adharmebhyaś ca yacchati ||
સ્વધર્મ અનુસાર પ્રયોગ કરેલી દંડનીતિ ચાતુર્વર્ણ્યને નિયંત્રણમાં રાખે છે; અને સ્વામી (રાજા) દ્વારા સમ્યક રીતે અમલમાં મૂકાય તો તે લોકોને અધર્મથી પણ અટકાવે છે.
