Shloka 14

न मे रत्नानि न धनं न तथान्ये परिच्छदा: । क्रतुष्वनुपयुक्तानि तेन सत्येन खं ब्रज,'प्रभो! मैंने सैकड़ों पुण्डरीक, गोसव तथा वाजपेय यज्ञोंका अनुष्ठान किया है। आप उन सबका फल प्राप्त करें। मेरे पास कोई भी रत्न, धन अथवा अन्य सामग्री ऐसी नहीं है, जिसका मैंने यज्ञोंमें उपयोग न किया हो। इस सत्य कर्मके प्रभावसे आप स्वर्गलोकमें जाइये”

નારદે કહ્યું—“મારી પાસે ન રત્નો છે, ન ધન, ન અન્ય કોઈ સામાન; જે કંઈ હતું તે બધું યજ્ઞોમાં જ વપરાઈ ગયું છે. આ સત્યના બળથી તમે સ્વર્ગે જાઓ.”
