ब॒हस्पतिरुवाच नहुषं याचतां देवी किंचित् कालान्तरं शुभा । इन्द्राणी हितमेतद्धि तथास्माकं भविष्यति,बृहस्पतिजीने कहा--देवगण! शुभलक्षणा शची देवी नहुषसे कुछ समयकी अवधि माँगें। इसीसे इनका और हमारा भी हित होगा
Bṛhaspatir uvāca: Nahuṣaṃ yācatāṃ devī kiñcit kālāntaraṃ śubhā | Indrāṇī hitam etad dhi tathāsmākaṃ bhaviṣyati ||
બૃહસ્પતિ બોલ્યા—દેવગણ! શુભલક્ષણાવાળી ઇન્દ્રાણી શચી નહુષ પાસે થોડો સમય માગે. એ જ તેના હિતમાં છે અને આપણાં માટે પણ કલ્યાણકારી થશે.
