Virāṭa-sabhāyāṃ Saṃniveśaḥ — Assembly at Virāṭa’s Hall and Kṛṣṇa’s Diplomatic Counsel
ततः कथास्ते समवाययुक्ता: कृत्वा विचित्रा: पुरुषप्रवीरा: । तस्थुर्मुहूर्त परिचिन्तयन्तः कृष्णं नृपास्ते समुदीक्षमाणा:
tataḥ kathās te samavāyayuktāḥ kṛtvā vicitrāḥ puruṣapravīrāḥ | tasthur muhūrtaṃ paricintayantaḥ kṛṣṇaṃ nṛpās te samudīkṣamāṇāḥ ||
ત્યારબાદ તે પુરુષપ્રવીરોએ સભાને શોભે તેવી રીતે નાનાવિધ વાતો કરી; પછી થોડો સમય મૌન રહ્યા. વિચારમગ્ન થઈ બેઠેલા તે બધા નરેશો શ્રીકૃષ્ણ તરફ જ નજર સ્થિર રાખી રહ્યા—જાણે તેમના વચન અને કર્મની રાહ જોતા હોય.
