विदुर उवाच जन्मप्रभृति भूतानां क्रिया सर्वोपलक्ष्यते । पूर्वमेवेह कलिले वसते किंचिदन्तरम्
vidura uvāca janmaprabhṛti bhūtānāṃ kriyā sarvopalakṣyate | pūrvam eveha kalile vasate kiñcid antaram ||
વિદુર બોલ્યા—મહારાજ! જન્મના આરંભથી જ પ્રાણીઓની સમગ્ર પ્રક્રિયા ક્રમશઃ ઓળખાય છે. પહેલા અહીં ગર્ભમાં જીવ થોડો સમય ‘કલિલ’ અવસ્થામાં રહે છે; પછી તે ક્રમે આગળ પ્રગટ થવા લાગે છે।
