अन्वशोचत दुःखार्ता द्रौपदी च हृतात्मजाम् | रुदतीमथ पाज्चालीं ददर्श पतितां भुवि
anvaśocat duḥkhārtā draupadī ca hṛtātmajām | rudatīm atha pāñcālīṃ dadarśa patitāṃ bhuvi
દુઃખથી વ્યાકુળ દ્રૌપદીએ પુત્રવિહોણી થયેલી તે સ્ત્રી માટે શોક કર્યો. પછી તેણે પાંચાલીને જોઈ—તે રડતી રડતી ભૂમિ પર પડી હતી।
