साधूनामपरित्याग: कुलीनानां च धारणम् | निचयश्न निचेयानां सेवा बुद्धिमतामपि
bhīṣma uvāca | sādhūnām aparityāgaḥ kulīnāṁ ca dhāraṇam | nicayaś ca nicīyānāṁ sevā buddhimatām api, yudhiṣṭhira |
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—હે યુધિષ્ઠિર, સજ્જનોનો ત્યાગ ન કર; કુલીન અને પ્રતિષ્ઠિત લોકોને નજીક રાખ; જે સંગ્રહયોગ્ય છે તેનો સંગ્રહ કર; અને બુદ્ધિમાનોની સંગત—તેમની સેવા તથા સલાહ—અવશ્ય સ્વીકાર।
