Chapter 57: Constant Royal Vigilance, Primacy of Protection, and Principles of Dismissal
स्वकर्मनिरता यस्य जना विषयवासिन: । असंघातरता दान्ता: पाल्यमाना यथाविधि
svakarmaniratā yasya janā viṣayavāsinaḥ | asaṅghātaratā dāntāḥ pālyamānā yathāvidhi ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—જેના રાજ્યમાં વિષયોમાં રહેતા હોવા છતાં લોકો વિધિપૂર્વક સુરક્ષિત અને પાલિત થઈ પોતાના-પોતાના કર્મમાં રત રહે, આસક્તિથી રહિત અને જિતેન્દ્રિય બની શિસ્તમાં સ્થિત રહે—તે રાજા ખરેખર શ્રેષ્ઠ છે।
