Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | vavau śivaḥ sukho vāyuḥ sarvagandhavahaḥ śuciḥ | śāntāyāṃ diśi śāntāś ca prāvadan mṛgapakṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—શીતળ, સુખદ, મંદ, પવિત્ર અને સર્વ સુગંધ વહન કરતો પવન વહેતો હતો. સર્વ દિશાઓ શાંત હતી અને તેમાં રહેલા પશુ-પક્ષીઓ પણ શાંતભાવથી મધુર ધ્વનિ કરતા હતા।
