सत्ये तपसि दाने च यज्ञाधिकरणे तथा । धनुर्वेदे च वेदे च नीत्यां चैवानुरक्षणे
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
satye tapasi dāne ca yajñādhikaraṇe tathā |
dhanurvede ca vede ca nītyāṃ caivānurakṣaṇe |
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—સત્ય, તપ, દાન, યજ્ઞનું યથાવિધિ અનુષ્ઠાન-વ્યવસ્થાપન, વેદ અને ધનુર્વેદનું જ્ઞાન, તેમજ નીતિશાસ્ત્ર અને પ્રજારક્ષણ—આ બધામાં તમારા સમાન બીજો કોઈ મહારથી મેં સાંભળ્યો નથી.
