पालयामास चम्पां च कर्ण: परबलार्दन: । दुर्योधनस्थानुमते तवापि विदितं तथा

Transliteration

pālayāmāsa campāṃ ca karṇaḥ parabala-ardanaḥ | duryodhana-sthānumate tavāpi viditaṃ tathā ||

Translation

નારદ બોલ્યા—શત્રુબળને ચકનાચૂર કરનાર કર્ણે ચમ્પા નગરીનું પણ શાસન કર્યું. તે દુર્યોધનની મંજૂરીથી થયું—અને આ વાત તને પણ જાણીતી છે.
