गोमत्यास्त्वेष पुलिने त्वददर्शनसमुत्सुक: । आसीनो वर्तयन ब्रह्म ब्राह्मण: संशितव्रत:

Transliteration

gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||

Translation

ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—ગોમતી નદીના રેતાળ કિનારે કઠોર વ્રત પાળનાર એક બ્રાહ્મણ બેઠા છે. તેઓ વેદપાઠ કરતા કરતા તમારા દર્શન માટે અત્યંત ઉત્સુક છે.
