नागभायोवाच आर्य: सूर्यरथं वोढुं गतोडसौ मासचारिक: । सप्ताष्टभिर्दिनैर्विप्र दर्शयिष्यत्यसंशयम्‌

Transliteration

Nāgabhāryovāca: āryaḥ sūryarathaṁ voḍhuṁ gato ’sau māsacārikaḥ | saptāṣṭabhir dinair vipra darśayiṣyaty asaṁśayam ||

Translation

નાગપત્નીએ કહ્યું—વિપ્રવર! મારા આર્ય પતિ સૂર્યદેવના રથને વહન કરવા ગયા છે. વર્ષે એક વાર એક માસ સુધી તેમને આ ફરજ કરવી પડે છે. સાત-આઠ દિવસમાં જ તેઓ નિઃસંદેહ અહીં દર્શન આપશે.
