सो5भिगम्य यथान्यायं नागायतनमर्थवित् | प्रोक्ततानहमस्मीति भो:शब्दालंकृतं वच:
so 'bhigamya yathānyāyaṃ nāgāyatanam arthavit | proktatān aham asmīti bhoḥ-śabdālaṅkṛtaṃ vacaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું— પોતાનો હેતુ સ્પષ્ટ રીતે સમજી તે અર્થજ્ઞ પુરુષ યોગ્ય રીતથી આગળ વધીને નાગના નિવાસસ્થાને પહોંચ્યો. દ્વાર પર આવી ‘ભોઃ’ એવા આદરભર્યા સંબોધનથી અલંકૃત વિનયવચન બોલી તેણે પોકાર્યું— “કોઈ છે? હું દ્વાર પર આવ્યો છું.”
