कुक्षिनाम्ने स प्रददौ दिशां पालाय धर्मिणे | ततोअप्यन्तर्दधे भूयो नारायणमुखोद्भव:
kukṣināmne sa pradadau diśāṃ pālāya dharmiṇe | tato 'py antardadhe bhūyo nārāyaṇamukhodbhavaḥ ||
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—તેણે આ ઉપદેશ ‘કુક્ષિ’ નામના દિશાઓના ધર્મનિષ્ઠ પાલકને આપ્યો. તેમ છતાં નારાયણના મુખથી ઉદ્ભવેલો આ સાત્વત-ધર્મ ફરી અંતર્ધાન થયો.
