त्वया विनिर्मितो<हं वै वेदचक्षुर्वयोतिग: । ते मे वेदा हताश्चक्षुरन्धो जातो5स्मि जागृहि

Transliteration

tvayā vinirmito'haṃ vai vedacakṣur vayotigaḥ | te me vedā hatāś cakṣur andho jāto'smi jāgṛhi ||

Translation

તમારા દ્વારા જ હું એવો રચાયો હતો કે વેદો જ મારી આંખો હતા અને હું વૃદ્ધાવસ્થાની ક્ષીણતા પાર કરેલો હતો. હવે મારા તે વેદો નષ્ટ થયા; મારી દૃષ્ટિ ઘાત પામી. હું અંધ થયો છું—જાગો, ઊઠો અને મને ફરી સમર્થ કરો.
