Nara-Nārāyaṇa–Nārada Discourse on Vision, Elements, and Entry into Vāsudeva
उपर्युपरि लोकस्य सर्वो गन्तुं समीहते । यतते च यथाशक्ति न च तद् वर्तते तथा
uparyupari lokasya sarvo gantuṃ samīhate | yatate ca yathāśakti na ca tad vartate tathā ||
બધા જ લોકો વધુ ને વધુ ઊંચા લોકોમાં જવા ઇચ્છે છે. દરેક પોતપોતાની શક્તિ મુજબ પ્રયત્ન કરે છે; છતાં તેમ જ થતું નથી—માત્ર ઇચ્છા અને પ્રયત્નથી જ તે સિદ્ધ થતું નથી.
