तुल्यं शौचं तपोयुक्तं दया भूतेषु चानघ । व्रतानां धारणं तुल्यं दर्शनं॑ न समं तयो:

Translation

બાહ્ય-આંતરિક શુચિતા, તપ, સર્વ ભૂતો પ્રત્યે દયા અને વ્રતધારણ—આ નિયમો બંને મતોમાં સમાન રીતે સ્વીકારાયેલા છે; પરંતુ તેમના દર્શન, એટલે પદ્ધતિઓ, સમાન નથી.
