सांख्ययोगभेदः तथा योगबलोपदेशः
Sāṃkhya–Yoga Distinction and Instruction on Yogic Strength
आनतेनाथ शूलेन पाणिनामिततेजसा । पिनाकमिति चोवाच शूलमुग्रायुध: प्रभु:
ānatena atha śūlena pāṇināmitatejasā | pinākam iti covāca śūlam ugrāyudhaḥ prabhuḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—અમિત તેજસ્વી પ્રભુના હાથથી ઝુકાવાયેલો તે ત્રિશૂલ જ્યારે ધનુષ્યના રૂપમાં પરિવર્તિત થયો, ત્યારે ઉગ્ર આયુધધારી ભગવાન શિવે, હાથથી ‘આનત’ (ઝુકાવાયેલ) થવાને કારણે, તે શૂલનું નામ ‘પિનાક’ રાખ્યું. આ પ્રસંગ દર્શાવે છે કે દિવ્ય શક્તિ વિનાશના સાધનને પણ શિસ્તબદ્ધ, હેતુપૂર્ણ સ્વરૂપમાં વાળી શકે છે; અને નામો એ નૈતિક સ્મૃતિને સાચવી રાખે છે।
