इत्येतन्मयमेवैतत्‌ सर्व स्थावरजड्रमम्‌ । प्रलये च तमभ्येति तस्मादुद्दिश्यते पुन:

ity etan mayam evaitat sarvaṁ sthāvara-jaḍam | pralaye ca tam abhyeti tasmād uddiśyate punaḥ ||

ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—આ રીતે જે કંઈ સ્થાવર અને જડ છે, તે સર્વ નિશ્ચયે માયામય છે. પ્રલયકાળે તે તે જ તત્ત્વમાં લીન થઈ જાય છે; તેથી તે સત્યનો નિર્દેશ કરવા માટે આ વાત ફરીથી આ રીતે કહેવાય છે.
