Parāśara’s Instruction
शृणुयाच्चैव या नारी तद्धक्ता ब्रह्मचारिणी । पितृपक्षे भर्त॒पक्षे पूज्या भवति देववत्
śṛṇuyāccaiva yā nārī tadbhaktā brahmacāriṇī | pitṛpakṣe bhartṛpakṣe pūjyā bhavati devavat ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—જે સ્ત્રી ભગવાન શંકરમાં ભક્તિભાવ રાખીને બ્રહ્મચર્યનું પાલન કરતી આ સ્તોત્ર સાંભળે છે, તે પિતૃકુળ અને પતિકુળ—બન્નેમાં દેવતાસમાન પૂજ્ય બને છે।
