वृत्ति-सत्सङ्ग-दान-धर्म
Livelihood, Virtuous Association, and Ethics of Giving
हाहाभूतं जगत् सर्वमुपलक्ष्य तदा प्रभु: । पितामहो महादेवं दर्शयन् प्रत्यभाषत
hāhābhūtaṃ jagat sarvam upalakṣya tadā prabhuḥ | pitāmaho mahādevaṃ darśayan pratyabhāṣata ||
ત્યારે સમગ્ર જગત હાહાકારથી ભરાઈ ગયું. આ જોઈને પ્રભુ પિતામહ બ્રહ્માએ મહાદેવને જગતની આ દુર્દશા બતાવીને તેમને સંબોધ્યા.

A universal calamity has arisen, causing widespread lamentation. Brahmā (called Pitāmaha) observes this condition and, showing the distressed state of the world to Mahādeva (Śiva), begins to address him—setting up a request or counsel aimed at resolving the crisis.
