अध्याय २८१ — दानधर्मः, न्यायागतधनम्, ऋणत्रय-परिशोधनं च
Dāna ethics, lawful wealth, and settling obligations
भीष्म उवाच ततो वृक्षौषधितृणमेवमुक्तं महात्मना । ब्रह्माणमभिसम्पूज्य जगामाशु यथागतम्
bhīṣma uvāca
tato vṛkṣauṣadhitṛṇam evam uktaṁ mahātmanā |
brahmāṇam abhisampūjya jagāma āśu yathāgatam ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—પછી તે મહાત્માએ એમ કહ્યાથી વૃક્ષો, ઔષધિઓ અને તૃણસમૂહે બ્રહ્માજીની યથાવિધિ પૂજા કરી અને જેમ આવ્યા હતા તેમ જ ઝડપથી પાછા ગયા।
