कपिल उवाच नाहं वेदान्‌ विनिन्दामि न विवक्ष्यामि कहिचित्‌ | पृथगाश्रमिणां कर्माण्येकार्थानीति न: श्रुतम्‌

Transliteration

kapila uvāca nāhaṃ vedān vinindāmi na vivakṣyāmi kahicit | pṛthagāśramiṇāṃ karmāṇy ekārthānīti naḥ śrutam |

Translation

કપિલે કહ્યું—હું વેદોની નિંદા કરતો નથી, અને તેઓ વિરુદ્ધ અર્થ શીખવે છે એવું પણ કદી કહતો નથી. અમે સાંભળ્યું છે કે જુદા જુદા આશ્રમોના કર્મો સ્વરૂપે ભિન્ન હોવા છતાં એક જ હેતુ તરફ દોરી જાય છે.
