Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: ime vai mānavāḥ sarve dharmaṃ prati viśaṅkitāḥ | ko ’yaṃ dharmaḥ kuto dharmas tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||
યુધિષ્ઠિરે કહ્યું—પિતામહ! આ બધા મનુષ્યો પ્રાયઃ ધર્મ વિષે સંશયગ્રસ્ત છે. આ ધર્મ ખરેખર શું છે? અને ધર્મની ઉત્પત્તિ ક્યાંથી થઈ? તે મને કહો.
