अहिंसा-प्रधान धर्मविचारः

Ahiṃsā as the Superior Dharma: Practical and Scriptural Reasoning

तत्राड्ुछ्ठेन राजेन्द्र निखर्वमपरं ततः । तस्थौ पितामहं चैव तोषयामास यत्नत:

tatrāṅguṣṭhena rājendra nikharvam aparaṃ tataḥ | tasthau pitāmahaṃ caiva toṣayāmāsa yatnataḥ ||

એ જ સ્થળે, રાજેન્દ્ર, ત્યારબાદ તે માત્ર અંગૂઠાના બળ પર વધુ એક પૂર્ણ નીખર્વ વર્ષો સુધી સ્થિર ઊભી રહી. આવા કઠોર અને અડગ પ્રયત્નથી તેણે પિતામહ બ્રહ્માને પ્રસન્ન કર્યા.
