राजधर्मः—राष्ट्ररक्षणं, दण्डनीतिः, हयग्रीवोपाख्यानम्

युधिषछ्िर उवाच न पार्थिवमिदं राज्यं न भोगाश्च पृथग्विधा: । प्रीणयन्ति मनो मे5द्य शोको मां रुन्धयत्ययम्
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca
na pārthivam idaṁ rājyaṁ na bhogāś ca pṛthagvidhāḥ |
prīṇayanti mano me 'dya śoko māṁ rundhayaty ayam ||
યુધિષ્ઠિર બોલ્યા—હે મુને! ન તો આ ભૂતલનું રાજ્ય, ન તો નાનાવિધ ભોગો—આજે મારા મનને પ્રસન્ન કરતા નથી. આ શોક મને ચારે તરફથી ઘેરી રહ્યો છે.
