आकाशे ददृशे ज्योतिरुद्यतार्चि:समप्रभम् । तयो: समीप त॑ प्राप्तं॑ प्रत्यदुश्यत भारत
ākāśe dadṛśe jyotir udyatārciḥ-samaprabham | tayoḥ samīpaṃ tat prāptaṃ pratyadṛśyata bhārata ||
આકાશમાં ઉદયમાન અગ્નિશિખા જેવી પ્રભા ધરાવતી એક જ્યોતિ દેખાઈ. હે ભારત! તે જ્યોતિ તે બંનેની નજીક આવતી દેખાઈ—જાણે નવોદિત સૂર્યની પાસે જ બીજા સૂર્યનું દિવ્ય તેજ પગલે પગલે નજીક સરકી રહ્યું હોય.
