पृथिवी ज्योतिराकाशमापो वायुश्च॒ पठचम: । एतद्योनीनि भूतानि तत्र का परिदेवना

Transliteration

śakra uvāca | pṛthivī jyotir ākāśam āpo vāyuś ca pañcamaḥ | etad-yonīni bhūtāni tatra kā paridevanā ||

Translation

શક્ર બોલ્યો—પૃથ્વી, અગ્નિ (જ્યોતિ), આકાશ, જળ અને પાંચમો વાયુ—આ જ દેહધારી પ્રાણીઓની યોનિરૂપ ઉપાદાન છે. જ્યારે બધા એમાંથી જ ઉત્પન્ન થઈ એમાં જ લીન થાય છે, ત્યારે શોક અને વિલાપ શા માટે?
