विघसाशी सदा च स्यात् सदा चैवातिथिव्रत: । श्रद्दधान: सदा च स्याद् देवताद्धविजपूजक:,उसे सदा यज्ञशिष्ट अन्नका भोक्ता, अतिथिसेवाका व्रती, श्रद्धालु तथा देवता और ब्राह्मणोंका पूजक होना चाहिये
Bhīṣma uvāca: vighaśāśī sadā ca syāt sadā caivātithivrataḥ | śraddadhānaḥ sadā ca syād devatā-dvija-pūjakaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—મનુષ્યે સદા વિઘસાશી રહેવું જોઈએ (અર્પણ અને યોગ્ય વહેંચણી પછી બચેલું અન્ન જ ભોજન કરવું), સદા અતિથિસેવાના વ્રતમાં સ્થિત રહેવું, સદા શ્રદ્ધાવાન રહેવું, અને દેવતાઓ તથા દ્વિજ (બ્રાહ્મણો) નો પૂજક બનવું જોઈએ.
