Vimokṣa-niścaya: Pañcaśikha’s Analysis of Aggregates, Guṇas, and Tyāga (मोक्षनिर्णयः)
दुर्लभा वेदविद्वांसो वेदोक्तेषु व्यवस्थिता: । प्रयोजन महत्त्वात्तु मार्गमिच्छन्ति संस्तुतम्
durlabhā vedavidvāṁso vedokteṣu vyavasthitāḥ | prayojana-mahattvāt tu mārgam icchanti saṁstutam ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—વેદને સાચે જાણનારા અને વેદોક્ત આચરણમાં દૃઢ રહેનારા પુરુષો દુર્લભ છે. પરંતુ પરમ વિવેકી પુરુષો મહત્તર પ્રયોજન જોઈને સર્વે દ્વારા પ્રશંસિત—મોક્ષ તરફ લઈ જતો—માર્ગ જ ઇચ્છે છે.
