आदित्यानदितिर्ऊज्ञेि देवश्रेष्ठानू महाबलान् | तेषां विष्णुर्वामनो5भूद् गोविन्दश्वा भवत् प्रभु:
ādityān aditir ūje devāśreṣṭhān mahābalān | teṣāṃ viṣṇur vāmano 'bhūd govindaś ca bhavat prabhuḥ ||
અદિતિએ પોતાની દિવ્ય શક્તિથી દેવોમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ એવા મહાબલી આદિત્યોને જન્મ આપ્યો. તે આદિત્યોમાં સર્વવ્યાપી ભગવાન વિષ્ણુ સ્વયં વામનરૂપે પ્રગટ થયા—એ જ પ્રભુ ગોવિંદ છે.
