Adhyāya 199: Karma–Jñāna Causality and the Nirguṇa Brahman

Manu’s Instruction

यदि नेच्छति मे दानं यथा दत्तमनेन वै । भवानत्र स्थिरो भूत्वा मार्गे स्थापयिताद्य नौ,इसने जिस तरह मुझे दान दिया है, उसी तरह यदि स्वयं भी मुझसे लेना नहीं चाहता है तो आप स्वयं सुस्थिर होकर हम दोनोंको धर्मके मार्गपर स्थापित कर दें

yadi necchati me dānaṃ yathā dattam anena vai | bhavān atra sthiro bhūtvā mārge sthāpayitādya nau ||

જો એ મારી પાસેથી પણ એ જ રીતે દાન સ્વીકારવા ઇચ્છતો ન હોય જેમ તેણે મને આપ્યું હતું, તો તમે અહીં સ્થિર રહી આજે અમ બંનેને ધર્મના માર્ગે સ્થાપિત કરો.
