Manu’s Instruction
विरूप उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजन् यथैतद् धारयाम्यहम् | विकृतस्यास्य राजर्षे नेखिलेन नराधिप,विरूप बोला--राजन्! नरेश्वर! आप सावधान होकर सुनें, राजर्ष! इस विकृतका ऋण जिस प्रकार मैं धारण करता हूँ, वह सब पूर्णरूपसे बता रहा हूँ
virūpa uvāca śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan yathaitad dhārayāmy aham | vikṛtasyāsya rājarṣe nekhilena narādhipa ||
વિરૂપ બોલ્યો—હે રાજન, સાવધાન થઈ સાંભળો; હું આ વિષયને જેમ ધારણ કરું છું તેમ સમજાવું છું. હે રાજર્ષિ, હે નરાધિપ, આ ‘વિકૃત’ના દાયિત્વને હું અંશે નહીં, પૂર્ણરૂપે કહું છું; કશું છુપાવું નહીં.
