बक-गौतमाख्यानम् / The Baka–Gautama Account
On Gratitude and Friendship Ethics
तत: शरीरं लोकस्थं स्थापयित्वा पितामह: । जनयामास भगवान् पुत्रानुत्तमतेजस:
tataḥ śarīraṁ lokasthaṁ sthāpayitvā pitāmahaḥ | janayāmāsa bhagavān putrān uttama-tejasaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—ત્યારબાદ પિતામહ બ્રહ્માએ લોકને યોગ્ય એવું શરીર ધારણ કરીને પરમ તેજસ્વી પુત્રોને જન્મ આપ્યો—મરીચિ, અત્રિ, પુલસ્ત્ય, પુલહ, ક્રતુ, વસિષ્ઠ, અંગિરસ; તેમજ સ્વભાવથી જ ઐશ્વર્યસંપન્ન પ્રભુ રુદ્રને પણ।
